Here at the Glenwood Caverns, we are adding a few new rides for you to enjoy in the new year of 2011. If you come to Glenwood Springs, take a ride on the Iron Mountain Tram and come up to see our latest additions to the amusement park.
When you get to the top of the hill, you will see a new 75 foot tower over to the left, past the alpine roller coaster. This new tower is providing access for TWO rides: a 50 foot bungee jump, or a 600 foot zip line run down to tram tower 6.

Sunlight Mountain Resort Opens Early

There was so much snow in Glenwood Springs in the last month, that the local ski area, Sunlight Mountain Resort decided to run their lifts a couple weeks early and open the day before Thanksgiving.
